WILL LONSDALE - OWNER & DIRECTOR
HND (DANCE), F.I.D.T.A, RAD REGISTERED TEACHER.
Will trained from a very young age in his hometown of Sheffield, gaining a strong knowledge in Ballet, Theatre Craft, Tap, Modern Jazz, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical and Acrobatics. This training has enabled him to gain nominations for the IDTA Theatre Dance Awards in both 2016 and 2018.
In 2017, Will became one of the top 12 performers in the country and reached the final round as a finalist in the prestigious ‘Miss Dance of Great Britain and Dance Master UK.’ In 2018, Will had the opportunity to demonstrate the new IDTA Advanced One Tap syllabus at the IDTA London Congress, on behalf of the Tap faculty, showcasing the work to the associations’ senior examiners.
Upon finishing university, Will then moved on to working professionally as a dancer for different artists such as; Steps, Kim Petras & Sophie Ellis-Bextor. After performing professionally for several years, Will then opened Momentum School of Dance in 2024 to offer exceptional dance tuition to children & adults of all ages.
